Mechel asks for installments on payments to Russian Railways

Last Wednesday the Government discussed the problems of Mechel owing the debt of $ 9.5 billion to its creditors. The Vice Premier A. Dvorkovich says that the state does not interfere to negotiations of the company with the creditors, and Mechel asks for installments on payments  for railway transporting and liberalization of port tariffs in Far East. Neither Mechel nor other credited metal producers asks for state guarantees to their credits as yet, whereas the state is ready to think over their possible granting.
