Mineral tax benefits will be broadened for Surgutneftegaz and Lukoil

The Ministry of Finances supports the suggestions of the Ministry of Energy on broadening of benefits for mineral tax for hard-extractable oil production from the deposits developed by less than 10%, RBC reports referring to the Deputy Minister of Finances S. Shatalov.

Now the benefit of 0% of mineral tax rate is granted to the deposits developed by less than 5%. Mr. Shatalov says that the new decision will touch Surgutneftegaz and Lukoil.
