Pechora LNG ready for sale

Pechora LNG is searching for a new partner – a state company. Besides, the controlling ownership can be sold. However, Rosneft is not interested, as it can export gas only from shelf and Gazprom has enough LNG projects, Kommersant reports.

Pechora LNG LLC in the framework of which Alltech of Dmitry Bosov is going to build an LNG plant in Nenets autonomous district, is trying to attract a state company, the General Director of the company Maksim Barsky said. He specified, he had been conducting the negotiations with Rosneft and Gazprom for two years. “We consider different variants of gas monetization, including foundation of fertilizers production or use of GTL (gas-to-liquid) technologies”, he claimed. Pechora LNG can consider selling of the controlling ownership to a state company, though it will depend on the proposals.
