Rosneft and Statoil plan to create a joint venture in the Samara region

On December 6 of 2013, Rosneft and Statoil signed a joint-stock and operating agreement within creation of CG for assessment of reasonability of Domanic deposits commercial development at Rosneft’s licensed sites in the Samara region.
The share participation of Rosneft in the project will make up 51% and Statoil – 49%.
The document was signed by the Rosneft’s Head I.Sechin and the Statoil’s General Director H.Lund to develop the Agreement on the main principles of the difficult oil development project implementation that was concluded in June of 2013.
