Rosneft to start gas production at the Kharampurskoye field

For the first time, Rosneft will start to develop industrial production of Turonian gas in Russia.
The company’s Board of Directors has approved “Integrated project of development of gas deposits (Cenomanian PK1 and Turonian T) of the Kharampurskoye field”.
The first stage implies that over 190 billion cubic meters of natural gas will be extracted from gas deposits of the Kharampurskoye field. The launch of the gas field is planned in 2017. In this period, the main production will be carried out from Senomanian deposits (8 billion cubic meters per year) that have high productivity and low prime cost of gas extraction.
