Gas agreement is a serious and important deal for Armenia

Gas agreement with Russia is a serious and important deal for Armenia, the republic’s Minister of Economy Vagram Avanesyan thinks.

By results of negotiations during the visit of the Russian President Vladimir Putin to Armenia in December of 2013, a number of agreements was signed; in particular, they provide for cancellation of export gas duties that enabled to reduce the gas price for Armenia to $189 per 1 thousand cubic meters.
