Belneftekhim reports its results in 2014

In 2014, the Belarusian state-owned concern Belneftekhim increased the volume of industrial production, ensured return on sales and a positive balance of foreign trade. This was reported by chairman of the Belneftekhim’s Board Igor Lyashenko at the meeting on February 6.

During the meeting of the Board, financial and economic activities of the Group in 2014 were summarized and tasks of the industry development in 2015 were consider.

Chairman of the concern Igor Lyashenko in his report noted that the index of industrial production in 2014 in the concern grew by 14.4%. 1.645 million tons of oil were produced (at the level of 2013). Primary processing of raw materials at two Belarusian refineries (in Mozyr and Novopolotsk) was 22.3 million tons (+ 5.4%). The volume of oil transportation made up 72.16 million tons (+ 1.1%), as well as an increase in real terms  in production of fertilizers, gasoline, diesel fuel, paraffin, phthalic anhydride, polyamide-6, passenger car tires, non-woven materials, fiberglass fabrics. As of January the 1st, finished goods stocks in the concern made up 21.1% of the average monthly production and decreased by 2.1% during the year. The positive balance of foreign trade amounted to over $6.5 billion – by almost $930 million more than in 2013.
