USA has increased oil extraction forecast in Kazakhstan

​The US Energy Information Agency (EIA) has increased the oil extraction forecast in Kazakhstan in 2016. It is forecast at 1.73 mln barrels a day.

Previously EIA forecast oil extraction in Kazakhstan in 2016 at 1.72 mln barrels a day.

According to the new forecast, in Q1 2016 oil extraction in Kazakhstan will be 1.71 mln barrels a day, in Q2 and Q3 -1.72 mln, in Q4 - 1.75 mln.

EIA forecasts oil extraction in Kazakhstan in 2017 at 1.75 mln barrels a day. Quarterly extraction in 2017 is expected at 1.76 mln barrels a day in Q1-Q2, 1.75 mln in Q3 and 1.74 mln in Q4.

In 2015 oil extraction in Kazakhstan made up 1.72 mln barrels a day.

According to BP’s review, proven oil reserves of Kazakhstan as of the beginning of 2015 made up 30 bln barrels.
