Development of Dobrovolskoye deposit of uranium in Russia to start in 2025

Uranium mining enterprise of the state corporation Rosatom Dalur (Kurgan region) plans to begin exploration of the Dobrovolskoye deposit of uranium in 2017, and to launch it in 2025; during the uranium mining at the deposit the payments to the budget and off-budget funds will amount to about 30 billion rubles, the press centre of the uranium holding company Atomredmetzoloto reports.

Now Dalur develops the Dalmatovskoye (Dalmatovsky district) and Khokhlovskoye (Shumikhinsky district) deposits in the Kurgan region by environmentally friendly way of drillhole in situ leaching. The Dobrovolskoye deposit in the Zverinogolovsky district with reserves of 7067 tons is the third large uranium deposit in the region.
