The Ukraine loses 3 bln cubic m of gas a year due to the annexation of the Crimea

​Due to the annexation of the Crimea by Russia, the Ukraine annually loses 2.5-3 bln cubic m of gas.

“Those who say that the gas extracted in the Ukraine is enough, are mistaken, as we have lost 2.5-3 bln cubic m of gas extracted in the Ukraine in the Crimea. This is Chernomorneftegas that extracted gas at the shelf of the Black Sea and in the Crimea which was used to cover the needs of the population”, the Minister of Energy and Coal Industry, V. Demchishin, said.

Chernomorneftegas announces of its plans to purchase a network of fuel stations which belonged to I. Kolomoisky and was nationalized by Russia.
