The Ukraine to be gas transiter is in the interest of the EU, European Commission

The European Union is interested that the Ukraine will keep being transiting gas corridor, EU Commissioner for Energy and Climate Action Miguel Arias Canete stated.
“Despite economic and political problems, the Ukraine is still a reliable gas partner and transiting country. It is in the interest of the European countries if the Ukraine continues to be significant transiting corridor,” he said at the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg.
