By 2020, Azerbaijan is going to double gas production to 54 billion cubic m, the Deputy Minister of Industry and Energy of the state N. Abbasov says at the meeting with the President of the National gas company of Iran J. Ovji. In 2012, Azerbaijan increased gas production by 3.9% to 26.766 billion cubic m. In January – April, it decline gas yield by 1.7% to 5.9 billion cubic m. Proven gas reserves of Azerbaijan are 2.2 trillion cubic m.
