Zapolyarye-Purpe will be packed with money
Transneft warns Rosneft with penalties for disruption of supplies to the pipeline.
Rosneft has asked Transneft again to postpone the start of its oil supplies to the Zapolyarye-Purpe pipeline and to reduce their volumes. Now Transneft is going to demand penalties in order to avoid losses. The penalties will be equal to the price of transporting of 80% of the declared volume. The experts think that it would be easier for Rosneft to pay the penalties than to follow the contract terms at the background of the current market situation.
