Medvedev decides to disclose information about oil reserves

The  Russian Prime Minister,Dmitry Medvedev has decided to disclose information about oil reserves in Russia and signed a decree of the Russian Government, which lifts the security classification from the balance of oil reserves. According to this decree oil and gas are removed from the list of minerals, which stocks information is a state secret.

It must be noted that secrecy was lifted from Russian hydrocarbon reserves at the suggestion of President Putin, who stated that foreign investors work in the Russian fuel and energy sector and Russian companies have long gone through an international audit, so this secrecy is an anachronism..
