In Q2, the Ukraine increased gas imports from Europe by 1.5 times

In Q2 2014, the Ukraine increased gas imports from Europe by nearly 50% to 568.4 million cubic m, compared to 381.3 million cubic m in Q2 2013, Naftogaz Ukraine reports. The Chairman of the Management Board of the company A. Kobolev says that when Russia stopped gas supplies the European direction becomes strategic for the Ukraine, and his company will develop cooperation with the EU suppliers.
