SOCAR has launched a new well at Caspian deposit

SOCAR has put into operation a new well at the shallow area of the Gyuneshli deposit in the Azeri sector of the Caspian.
The well located at the Gyuneshli-11 platform was included into the operational fund with the daily capacity of 85 tons of oil and 16 thousand cubic m of gas.
The Gyuneshli deposit plays an important role in the oil and gas sector of Azerbaijan. The shallow area of the deposit is developed by SOCAR alone, the deep water area – in the structure of the Azeri-Chirag-Gyuneshli block (together with foreign partners).
