The Ukraine hopes to purchase Russian gas at not more than $250

The Ukraine hopes that the price of the Russian gas will not exceed $250/thousand cubic m in the coming heating season.
According to Mr. Demchishin, such a price will be adequate and fair, and will suit Kiev. The Minister said that the gas price might be even lower than $250 in connection with the falling oil price.
He acknowledged that in the coming heating season the Ukraine needs the Russian gas so as to fill its underground storages and guarantee the supplies to the European consumers. The Ukraine insisted that the gas agreement should be 3-party, with the participation of the EU.
