Any offshore production project is subject to environmental assessment

The Russian authority does not allow offshore hydrocarbon production projects implementation without the the observance of the highest ecostandards, the President of Russia V.Putin said.

According to the president, it is impossible, especially in the areas of the Far North. RIA Novosti reports.
