Baku and Nabucco: Azerbaijani wants to export gas to Europe on two routes

Baku and Ankara state that the project of the Nabucco West gas pipeline construction will be implemented, because it is still topical. This was reported by the Azerbaijani Minister of Industry and Energy Natig Aliev and the Turkish Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Taner Yildiz.

The Azerbaijani Minister stated in Baku that the choice of one export route – the Trans Adriatic Pipeline (TAP) – doesn’t mean that the other project won’t take place. “Each of these projects has its own aims. I consider, Nabucco West won’t lose its urgency with time,” – Natig Aliev said.
