CNPC is going to conduct geological exploration at two investment blocks in South Uzbekistan, a source close to the company reported on Monday.
On Monday CNPC and Uzbekneftegaz signed a memorandum of understanding for studying the opportunities of geological exploration and extraction of hydrocarbons at Boisunskoye and Surkhanskoye investment blocks in the south of the republic, the source specified. The document was signed in the framework of the visit of Xí Jìnpíng to Uzbekistan, RIA News reports.
