LNG to be about to be exported – a law draft on liberalization of liquefied gas supplies abroad is prepared

The Ministry of Energy has completed the draft law, which will permit independent gas producers to export LNG on their own.Currently the  draft law  is being coordinated with the Presidential Administration. Its turned out to bequite liberal – theoretically all subsoil users will be able to receive the right to export LNG. However, they will have to receive a special license, but it hasn’t been decided who will grant this. The Ministry of Energy hopes to secure this right for itself, but there is a variant that the Presidential FEC Commission will grant the licenses, on which Rosneft insists.
