Mozyr oil refinery is stopped for repairs

From September 10, the Mozyr oil refinery is stopped for major repairs. This action is a scheduled outage that is to be completed at the end of October 2013. While its execution, some machines will be launched after reclamation work and the other will be stopped for diagnostics and repairs. The action at the plant will decline its yield, and less petrol will be exported then.

The scheduled outage at the plant is performed at an unappropriate time concerning the state of affairs with the  fuel market in Russia. In late August the Ministry of Energy of Russia stated at the session of the headquarters for the monitoring of oil production manufacturing and consumption that in Q3 2013 fuel could be deficient without additional supplies of Belarus petrol.
