Serbia prepares for interruptions in gas transit through the Ukraine

Today, over 380 million cubic. meters of gas are pumped in the gas storage Banatski Dvor in Serbia. Thus, the country has provided itself with sufficient amount of fuel for the case of disruption of the supplies of Russian gas via the Ukraine this winter, Serbiagas reports.
As it’s specified, 141 million cubic meters of fuel, pumped into the gas storage facility, are owned by Serbiagas, and about 240 million belong to Gazprom export. According to the plan of the company, by the heating season, which begins in Serbia in mid-October, the storage facility Banatski Dvor will be fully filled - to 450 million cubic meters.
