Drilling program in the framework of experimental-industrial development completed at Novoportovskoe deposit

Gazprom Neft successfully completed its drilling program in the framework of experimental-industrial development of Novoportovskoe deposit – one of the largest in Yamal.

Operation of the third horizontal well drilled at the second cluster pad has started at Novoportovskoe. The length of the horizontal sector of the new well exceeds 930 metres; daily yield reaches 210 tons of oil – by 50% more than planned.

Thus, there are eight operational wells at the deposit: five at the first cluster pad and three at the second. At the same time, the yield of the six wells exceeds the design results twice on average. The results obtained at the wells will make it possible to specify the volume of geological reserves of the deposits and determine the best way of development.
