The international oil trader Gunvor, controlled by the businessman Gennady Timchenko, plans to diversify its business, Timchenko reported to Kommersant.
According to him, the acquisition of a share in a European refinery was discussed with the partner Torbjorn Tornqvist. “We continue to study the Asian direction, particularly, we think about investments into a refinery in Mongolia, towhich products can be supplied to neighboring markets. So, Gunvor will stop to be just a trader, we will diversify the business,” – Timchenko reported to the edition.
