International Energy Agency announced of the risks of financing of oil and gas projects in Russia

​According to the International Energy Agency, the financing of large oil and gas projects in Russia is risky, was said in the report about the changes of the world energy sector.

The International Energy Agency states the fall of perspectives of realization of new export projects in Russia due to the price fall for hydrocarbons and sanctions which contribute to the restriction of the access of the Russian companies to the western market.

The domestic sources of financing (NWF and international alternatives) will not replace their western analogues in full.

The International Energy Agency states that due to the rouble’s weakening, the price of imported equipment rises. The future of Yamal LNG is ambiguous.
