Financial decision on realization of Shakhdeniz-2 project will be admitted within near days

On December 17, the final financial decision on realization of Shakhdeniz-2 project will be admitted, the President of SOCAR R. Abdullayev says. Now the experts execute documentation. In the total, they are going to sign 39 documents. The start of gas production at Shakhdeniz-2 is planned for 2018, and gas will be delivered to the European market in 2019. Annual volume of gas production will be 16 billion cubic m, including 10 billion cubic m dispatched to Europe and 6 billion cubic m to Turkey.
