Kazakhmys attracts the second contractor for the development of Bozshagol

Kazakhmys has appointed the company Non-Ferrous China as the second principal contracting organization for the development of copper deposit Bozshakol. Additional resources are mainly attracted for the construction and launch of the processing plant.
An increase of the total cost of the project by $350 million is expected for that matter. An attraction of the second contracting organization will be an extra guarantee of production start at the deposit by the scheduled 2015.
