Tajikistan asks Uzbekistan to resume deliveries of natural gas

The official letter of cooperation in the sphere of gas, including gas purchases in 2014 was sent to Uzbekistan, General Director of Tajiktransgas reported. “If the answer is positive, we’ll start the negotiations about the gas delivery contract”, he said.
“It is hard to specify the volume. It depends on the supplier and the consumers in the republic. Besides, there is the gas value factor”, he explained.
