In 2015, 534 million tons of oil produced in Russia

By results of last year, Russia set a new record for the extraction of oil and gas condensate – on the whole, it reached 534 million tons, increased by almost 1.5% as compared with the previous year. The largest increase - 12% - was observed in Bashneft. However, according to forecasts of some experts, the oil production in Russia will start to fall this or next year.

The next oil record, achieved by Russia, was reported by the Vedomosti on Monday, which referred to the Central Dispatch Department of the Fuel and Energy Sector. It was clarified that the index of the oil and gas condensate production of 534 million tons, made last year, is by 1.4% higher than in 2014.

The highest increase belongs to Bashneft, the production of which grew by 11.9% and made up 19.9 million tons (remember, in 2014, Bashneft increased its oil production by 10.8% to 17.8 million tons). In addition, the production was increased by Tatneft - by 2.7% to 27.2 million tons, Gazpromneft - by 2.1% to 34.3 million tons, Surgutneftegaz - by 0.3% to 61.6 million tons. But the production of the largest Russian oil company Rosneft decreased by 0.9% to 189.2 million tons. The corresponding figure of Lukoil decreased by 1.1% (85.7 million tons), of Slavneft – by 4.4% (15.5 million tons).
