Kazakh "Petrochem Company LTD", the only producer of polypropylene (PP) in the country, forced to suspend production of PP due to the fire that occurred on January 4, 2016.
A fire at a warehouse polypropylene LLP "Company Petrochem LTD" broke out on January 4 at 18.45 Astana time. The fire was extinguished after 4 hours. The fire killed two people. Three people were taken to hospital with burns. Area fire was 150 square meters.
According to the director Erlan Kusanova, currently the company is already under reconstruction, on the site of a special commission to investigate the incident.
