Rosneft extracted 254 mln tons of hydrocarbons in 2015 – Sechin

​In 2015 Rosneft extracted 254 mln tons of hydrocarbons, the head of Rosneft, I. Sechin, said.

Oil processing in the conditions of the new tax regime made up almost 97 mln tons. A full turn to the output of motor fuel of Euro-5 standard at all the company’s oil refineries was realized.

Mr. Sechin said that Rosneft is still the leader by the payments to the federal budget. On the results of 2015 it made up about 20% of the profitable part of the budget, he said. In 2015 the company contributed to the stabilization of the financial system of the country having realized $45.5 bln in the foreign currency market.

Mr. Sechin said that Rosneft ended 2015 very well having signed a contract with PKN Orlen on the additional supply of 18-25.2 mln tons of oil to Poland. The agreement shows the competitiveness of the Russian companies, guarantees a stake in the traditional for us market, providing the main volumes of consumption in this country.
