There are no signs of crisis in oil and gas sector – Ministry of Energy

There are no system signs of crisis in the oil and gas sector of Russia which were expected as the consequence of the situation in 2014, the Minister of Energy of Russia, K. Molodtsov, said.

The sector fells well. It concerns extraction and processing of hydrocarbons… We can’t see any system signs of crisis which would show a serious influence of events of 2015 on the sectoral activity, he said.

We see a continual growth in the oil chemicals market. There is neither reduction of loading of capacities, nor cases of personnel firing, he said.

The deputy Minister said that there are factors which should be taken into account in the current situation. They were reflected in the Government’s anti-crisis plan, and are monitored constantly, Mr. Molodtsov said.
