FAS has believed Rosneft

FAS will not punish Rosneft that hasn’t finally executed its obligations on the sale of a fuel station. The Agency agreed to believe Rosneft that 87 fuel stations that were transferred to the company at the purchase of TNK-BP would be put up for sale in Q1. Experts say that the process of sale might be delayed even now as the interest in fuel stations in falling in the market.

FAS has closed a case on the administrative violation in respect of Rosneft initiated due to the fact that the company hadn’t managed to fully execute the requirement of the regulator on the sale of 115 fuel stations. These fuel stations were transferred to Rosneft at the purchase of TNK-BP in 2013. Rosneft notified FAS of its getting ready for the sale of the rest 87 fuel stations in Q1 2015 and submitted its trade policy to the agency that fully meets the law on competition, head of the control department of the fuel and energy sector of FAS, D. Makhonin said.
