Oil companies might reduce oil extraction in Western Siberia by 4-5% in 2015

The oil extraction in the Western Siberia might fall by 4-5% in 2015, the executive Vice-President of Lukoil, R. Maganov, said.

“This fall might touch all companies working in the Western Siberia”, he said not mentioning what volume of extraction fall in this region Lukoil might face.

According to Mr. Maganov, in general the extraction by Lukoil group in 2015 will rise by means of the Iraqi deposit Western Kurna-2 as well as by means of other projects.

He added that the company developed out the budget for 2015 based on the oil price of $60/barrel.
