Gazprom demands to bind competitors to supply gas to Russian population

Gazprom wants to achieve equal operational conditions with the independent gas producers in the domestic market of natural gas sales. In response to the desire of other companies to get a stake in gas exports, the monopoly wants to bind them to supply fuel to population in the regions, the Izvestia reports.

This proposal is contained in a package of Gazprom’s initiatives, which it sent to the relevant departments on the eve of the meeting of the FEC Presidential Commission. In addition, the gas monopoly asks to equalize gas MET: independent gas producers’ gas MET is less by almost 200 rubles per thousand cubic meters of gas.
