Kazakhstan raises oil export duties.

In 2014 Kazakhstan will raise the export customs duty (ECD) on crude oil from $60/ton to $80/ton, E.Dosaev, the Minister of Economy and Budget Planning of Kazakhstan, told  a government meeting, presenting the budget for 2014.

According to him, the increase in customs duties on the export of hydrocarbons will increase the revenue in the budget of Kazakhstan.

"Increasing the ECD rates on crude oil from $60/ton up to $80 /ton from 1st April 2014, and the growth rate of tenge to the dollar for the total amount of 303.3 billion tenge", - E.Dosaev stated.
