Rosneft increased oil extraction at Verkhnechonsky deposit by 6.5%

Rosneft has increased oil extraction at the Verkhnechonsky oil and gas condensate deposit to 8.2 mln tons a year. This is by 0.5 mln tons a year more than in 2013. The growth was due to the completion of construction and reconstruction of a number of key objects.
As a result of the reconstruction of an oil preparation unit, its throughput capacity rose by 25% to over 8 mln tons of oil a year in 2014.
Its reconstruction was completed in October 2014.
At the present time Verkhnechonskneftegas keeps constructing new technological objects in the framework of the program of expansion of capacities of the oil preparation unit.
