Polyvinyl chloride price in Europe and Russia to increase

The contract price of polyvinyl chloride is expected to grow in May against the background of the increase in raw material prices and reduction of the material supply on the market.

The contract price of ethylene in Europe for deliveries in May was agreed at the level of 40 euro per ton, which is higher than in April and increases the cost of the polyvinyl chloride production by about 20 euro per ton. It is expected that the May contract price of polyvinyl chloride will increased by 40-50 euro per ton in Europe.
