Nord Stream is stopped for repairs

Nord Stream pipeline is stopped for the planned repairs. In the end of May 2013, Nord Stream announced that technical operations at both branches of Nord Stream would start on June 3rd 2013 and would last for 2 weeks. While the work, the branches will be stopped in turns first, and then simultaneously.

The Ukraine is likely to appreciate the news. Usually, while the repairs at the branches of Nord Stream, Russian gas transit via the Ukraine increases.
