The Australian Odin Energy rejected its plans for the purchase of 80% in Burtasy Oil, the company holding the licenses for development of Pionerskoye and Shatkinskoye, 2 deposits in the Penza region in Russia, the chief geologist of Burtasy Oil, S. Shulgin says. The deposit reserves are 80 million barrels. The total oil extraction in the region is 153,700 tons. Now they hold the licenses for oil exploration and development in the region Suraneft, Burtasy Oil, Suraneftegaz and NGDU Ulyanovskneft.
