Ukrgasdobycha expects gas extraction fall by 3% in 2015

Ukrgasdobycha PJSC in 2015 forecasts the reduction of gas extraction by 3% or about 400 mln cubic m, chief engineer A. Nesterenko said. He said that according to the company’s plan, the extraction in 2015 will make up about 14.7 bln cubic m against 15.113 bln cubic m in 2014 and 15.11 bln cubic m in 2013.

Mr. Nesterenko said that if in 2014 Ukrgasdobycha managed to cover the extraction fall at 5 deposits in the area of anti-terrorist operations, then this year with high fiscal requirements, problems with the issue of special permissions for geological study and difficulties with lands issue, it won’t be possible to repeat such a result.

He said that 15-18 mln cubic m of gas were extracted at these territories.
