The pilot project of liberalization of prices for the industry may start in 2017.
As "the Kommersant" informs, already in 2017 a pilot project on the liberalization of gas prices for industry may start in the Tyumen Region, the Yamalo-Nenets and Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Districts. According to FAS the proposal has already been discussed with "Gazprom" and the regions, the monopoly will have the right to give discounts on gas that only independent producers can do now. The idea has caused discontent of Novatek and "Rosneft": the competitors of "Gazprom" state that the pilot project can not start until they receive access to the gas transportation system and gas exports equal to the monopoly.
