Sayanskchemplast announces of production start

After almost a 5-month shutdown caused by the accident at the Angarsk polymer plant (in the structure of Rosneft) and repair, Sayanskchemplast has returned to the production process.

On July 1st the Angarsk polymer plant renewed ethylene shipment to the enterprise. Raw materials are shipped without the agreement. Sayanskchemplast has to receive the volumes that is consideres necessary to sell to Rosneft, and that can provide the production by not more than 60% of the capacity of Sayanskchemplast.

By July 11th the first tons of the main products have been produced – suspended PVC.

On June 27th chloride and caustic production was put into operation at the minimal loading. On July 9th the cracking unit was started.

The launch was held in conformity with the regulations, everything is working in the regular mode.
