The Russian companies that closed the direct contracts with Naftogaz will be able to supply gas via the Ukraine to Europe when introduction of restrictions for gas transit

In case of introduction of restrictions for gas transit via the Ukraine for Russian companies, it will remain possible for the companies that do not fall under the sanctions and close the direct agreements with Naftogaz.

The introduction of restrictions for the transit of the resources can either limit or stop further provision of gas transporting services to the defined contractors by Naftogaz Ukraine and Ukrtransgaz. In this case, gas transporting services via the Ukraine to the EU, Turkey and Moldova can be granted to the contractors that do not fall under the sanctions. For that, they should the corresponding direct contracts with the operator of the Ukrainian gas transporting system.
