In H1, Norilsk Nickel increased its profit under RAS 2 times

In January-June 2015, Norilsk Nickel’s net profit under RAS made up 102.19 billion rubles, which is twice more than in the same period last year, the company’s non-consolidated report informs.

The pretax profit amounted to 126.434 billion rubles (+2 times), the sales profit – 143.083 billion (+1.9 times).

The company’s revenue increased 1.5 times to 218.499 billion rubles (from the sale of metals and metal products 1.5 times to 212.356 billion), while cost of sales increased by 9.5% to 62.076 billion rubles (sold metals and metal products by 7.4% to 55.591 billion rubles). In particular, the company received 69.361 billion rubles from the sale of nickel (+47.2%); copper and copper rod - 56.231 billion rubles (+44.8%); platinum and its compounds - 20.251 billion rubles (+29.6%); palladium and its compounds - to 56.648 billion rubles (+62.4%). The company explains the growth in the revenues from the sale of non-ferrous metals with the depreciation of the ruble against the dollar.
