Izhora pipe plant has completed products dispatch for Central Asia – China international gas pipeline

The Izhora pipe plant specializing in large diameter pipe production of strips made by the Cherepovets metal works (both are the members of Severstal Russian Steel) has completed the products dispatch for the Central Asia – China international gas pipeline. Since January until August 2013, the enterprise supplied for the project over 50,000 tons of pipes with diameter of 1,219 mm and wall thickness of 17.5 mm and 20.6 mm made of X80 steel with inner and outer rustproof cover. Large diameter pipes are made of the steel plates made at mill 5000 of plate rolling shop #3 of Cherepovets metal works. The production, trial and dispatch process was performed under the control of MOODY International independent inspection.
