"The Caspian countries - Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Iran - have large reserves of natural gas. Iran has been under international sanctions for a long time, and development of large gas reserves in this country requires substantial investments. However, to solve the problem of gas transportation will be easier in this case, since the work on the creation of the Trans-Anatolian gas pipeline (TANAP) are in the process. The TANAP project provides for the transportation of Azerbaijani gas from the Shah Deniz field through Turkey to the border with Europe,"- said L. Zhervalidze
