EU Commission intends to learn details of Nord Stream-2 from Russia

The EU Commission intends to learn the details of Nord Stream-2 from Russia, deputy head of the EU Commission for the issues of Energy Union, M. Shefcovich, said before the 2-party negotiations between Russia and the EU Commission.
“We want to listen to Russia, what they tell us about this project. The EU Commission has rules which should be followed. We need to discuss this project as we learnt about it a week ago”, he said.
