Low investment into the metallurgy sector of Kazakhstan will lead to decline in production by 15%

Insufficient investment into the metallurgy sectorof Kazakhstan will lead to a decline in production of 15%, the Minister of Economy of Kazakhstan, E. Dosayev says at the Governmental session. Metallurgy will be accompanied with the entire processing sector that will fall by 6.1%. In January – Sept, Kazakhstan steel producers declined production by 14%. The situation is worsened by the state of the economies in the countries, the major consumers of the Kazakh rolled steel: the EU sharing 50% in the whole exports, and Russia that declined purchase by 2.5%.
